Corporate Excel Training (CorpEx) was formed in 2007 with a specific focus on providing expert corporate Excel training and financial modelling courses utilising advanced Excel techniques. Founded by Eelco Lodewijks and Gordon Langman, CorpEx has established a close working relationship with some of South Africa's leading Excel course presenters. The primary focus is to provide high quality courses for in-house clients. Public courses are also presented from time to time as a service for smaller clients or individuals. MS Excel is an extremely useful tool, and widely used throughout business and industry, to the extent that it is arguably more important than MSWord in a corporate environment. Whilst many courses are available to teach Excel basics, the key differentiator of CorpEx courses relates to the practical application of advanced techniques in the workplace. The courses are of a highly practical nature and the outcome objectives are to significantly enhance the participant's skills and ability to apply the knowledge for the benefit of the organisation. Simply put, on completion participants should be in a position to make full use of the numerous Excel functions and techniques to build better spreadsheets, quicker with greater integrity.
