Colin Human - CA (SA)
Colin is a chartered accountant, with extensive business experience. He has occupied various senior management positions in both public and private companies in the following industries:-
Colin has built many financial models using Excel as the modelling platform and started his modelling activities in the early 80's. A detailed list of clients is shown below. Colin became involved in lecturing and personal executive coaching in 1998 when he presented "Financial Courses for Non- Financial Managers" (Understanding Corporate Financial Performance) on behalf of The Mast Consulting Group. Since that date he has presented the following courses both locally and internationally on numerous occasions.

Clare Bower - BSc
Clare Bower has a BSc Computer Science. She has been involved in the training of Excel at different levels for many years and brings a high level of practical skill to bear. Her career includes that of area manager for the SA Permanent Building Society, where her management role included the training of staff in various computer disciplines. She elected to become self-employed and ran the National Computer College in Ladysmith, specializing in End-user Computer Training and Programming. Her qualifications include End-User Computer Trainer (Advanced). In addition she took over MegaMasters Educational Computing - Ladysmith which specialises in End-user, Programming and Technical Computer Training. She holds the qualification of ICDL Trainer. She is also an accredited End-user Computer Assessor. As a franchisee she managed these centres for 12 years where she predominantly trained the Advanced levels of the MS Office Professional Suite, MS Project, and Programming. Jonny Leeb - CA (SA)
Jonny Leeb has conceptualised and assisted in the development of management tools used to support and measure the value outcome of strategic decisions. Jonny's valuation experience and the tools he has developed have been utilised in a variety of engagements including corporate finance support, mergers, acquisitions, capital raisings, management buy-outs, and valuations in terms of Generally Accepted Accounting Practice. As far as corporate advisory work is concerned, current engagements include the pricing audit of a parastatal for competition compliance purposes. Significantly, he has developed a B-BBEE Scorecard calculator in compliance with the Codes of Good Practice which is being utilised to produce gap analyses and strategy opinions to local and multinational organisations. Prior to his corporate advisory work, Jonny consulted on database design and systems implementation. He has also served as a financial manager and divisional director. Jonny is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA). He completed articles at Moores Rowland, having passed his SAICA final qualifying exams in 1988. David V Theron - CA (SA)
Mr. Theron is a self-employed chartered accountant consulting and lecturing in the field of financial modelling. He served articles with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. (now KPMG) and, after qualifying, spent some time with them in London. He has extensive experience in the building of financial models dating back to 1971, when punched cards were used on mainframe computers. Carmel Ives - BSc
Carmel is a qualified chemical engineer with considerable experience in diverse engineering projects and applications ranging from tendering, through the design phase to commissioning. She is the recipient of a Sastech Award for a project involving comparative analysis.
